Before you pick.
Why is Stealward so cheap?
Because it really is. Many Mac anti-theft apps charge $10 to $30 a year for local movement and device-state detection. Everything these products charge for is already included in Stealward Free, along with connection monitoring and instant alerts on your iPhone.
Our paid plans cost about the same as those basic tools, but add encrypted low-latency live video, recordings, live rewind, and AI Watchdog. We keep Stealward affordable because we want more people to be able to protect their devices and belongings when they step away.
Why is Stealward so expensive?
It isn't. Live video and AI are expensive to operate because both require substantial cloud infrastructure. Stealward delivers encrypted live video with latency measured in hundreds of milliseconds. Pro also lets you rewind while the stream is still live. These features require globally distributed servers, substantial bandwidth, and video storage.
Every AI Watchdog check also incurs AI processing costs. We use high-quality AI models to improve detection accuracy and provide clearer, more reliable results. Keeping everything fast, reliable, and secure requires ongoing engineering.
The price reflects what these services actually cost to provide. At launch, we have not found another anti-theft app with a comparable feature set, while Stealward's pricing is already close to what much simpler apps charge for their paid features.
Where can I subscribe?
You can subscribe in Stealward on an iPhone or iPad. Payment is handled by the App Store. You can change or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Link your first iPhone or iPad to get 5 days of Pro at no charge. No payment method is required, and the trial does not start a paid subscription automatically. After 5 days, you continue on Free unless you choose a paid plan.
